MTA2007 to spearhead Asia`s manufacturing industries by showcasing high precision capabilities and cutting edge technologies

Press Release Body = Worldwide demand for machine tool products are expected to rise 5.2 percent per year through 2009 to more than US$84 billion dollars1. In addition, it is predicted that Asia Pacific will account for almost half of this demand, making the region a major player in the machine tools and precision engineering industry.
Taking advantage of the bright outlook in manufacturing, many market leaders have already signed up and are expected to fully utilize the 4-day exhibition at the Singapore Expo to feature their latest and most outstanding machines, many of which will be launched for the first time in Asia and even the world. Machines presented on the exhibition floor also serve a wide array of industries, promising to answer the sourcing needs of buyers across Asia and beyond.
High level executives from the industry's biggest names have also expressed their support and endorsement for MTA2007 as an event to display high precision capabilities, cutting edge technologies, and spearheading Asia's manufacturing industries.

Among the first to be seen in Asia are a range of Machining Centers from HwaCheon, a Korean company with a newly established presence in Singapore. Displays include the SIRIUS UL , M2-5AX, Hi-M 760, Hi-Tech 250 models. HwaCheon's overseas markets include South East Asia, India, China, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Africa, and to serve its customers in the Asia Pacific region better, HwaCheon has established a Regional Office in Singapore in May 2006.
HwaCheon's strategic move reinforces Singapore's standing as a dynamic, and suitable location for companies around the world, and makes shows like MTA2007 all the more relevant.
Xi'an Lead Metrology Co., Ltd., a high-tech corporation engaged in CMM R&D, manufacture and sales, will also launch for the first time in Asia, it's brand new coordinate measuring machine.
Making its debut in Singapore is the PF32A Electronic Beam Machine by Sodick, which allows users to reduce the time taken in hand polishing intricate moulds.
Renishaw will be featuring its RTP20 ('round the pole'), a unique low-cost probe head with integral probe sensor, that offers the functionality and benefits of a motorised head system. The company's new RTP20 compact probe head for DCC co-ordinate measuring machines (CMMs) offers a low-cost 'motorised' head functionality and integral TP20 touch-trigger probe.
Other leading brands in the industry that will be present at MTA2007 include 3M, Amada, Blum, Brother, Bruderer, Citizen, DMG, Erowa, Fanuc, HAAS, Hexagon Metrology, Hurco, Idemitsu, Iscar, Makino, Mastercam, Mori Seiki, Mitsubishi Electric, Nikon, OGP, Okamoto, Okuma, OSG, Pinnacle, Seco, Sandvik, Studer, System 3R, Tornos, UGS, YCM, and many more.
Supplementing the exhibition is a series of value-added events including the SIMTech Annual Manufacturing Forum (AMF) and the MTA2007 Manufacturing Technology Forum, providing delegates with a comprehensive platform to discuss industrial trends, opportunities and technological advances driving the market today.
In addition, MTA2007, together with the Singapore Precision Engineering & Tooling Association will play host to the association members of the Federation of Asian Die & Mould Associations who will be holding their Annual General Meeting in the show premises.
